Adam Levine about to be father: Maroon 5 reschedule tour dates
Maroon 5 have rescheduled seven upcoming concert dates as frontman Adam Levine prepares for the impending birth of his first child. The singer announced it on Friday (Sep02) on Instagram, saying the band were forced to postpone the gigs as he eagerly awaits the arrival of his baby with wife Behati Prinsloo.
“Sadly, it’s par for the course with having a baby soon,” he said on Instagram. “It’s life, and it’s beautiful, but it can be complicated, and I apologize for any convenience. We hope you guys can go to the shows, they’ll be just as great. We love you, and we’re sorry.”
Maroon 5 kicked off their U.S. tour on Saturday (Sep03) in Texas, and the band’s official website confirmed that upcoming concerts in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinatti and Milwaukee will be rescheduled to February and March of next year. All tickets for these rescheduled dates will be honoured by the venues.
Behati Prinsloo is due on September 20th, and the band have rearranged the other planned gigs in late September to give Adam chance to be there for the birth.
