Ayub Bachchu dies aged 56
Bangladeshi musician Ayub Bachchu – best known as a founding member of the rock band LRB – died of cardicac failure in Square Hosptial in Dhaka on Thursday (Oct.18). He was 56.
The singer was taken to Square Hospital around 9:16 am when doctors declared him “brought dead”. The cardiac problems might have caused death as Bachchu had been suffering from cardiac complications for long.
Bachchu was one the most influential figures in Bangledeshi rock music, known also for being a member of the band Feelings and for joining the band Souls as lead guitarist.
The mortal remains of Ayub Bachchu will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar from 10:30am to 12:30am on Friday (Oct. 19), so that his fans and people from all walks of life can pay their last respects.
