Camila Cabello drops ‘Never Be The Same’ & ‘Real Friends’
Camila Cabello has released two new tracks off the upcoming debut album ‘Camila’. The songs are titled “Never Be The Same” and “Real Friends.”
In the first one, the artist sings of an addictive love, crying out in the chorus “It’s you, babe/ And I’m a sucker for the way that you move, babe/ And I could try to run, but it would be useless/ You’re to blame/ Just one hit, you will know I’ll never ever, ever be the same.”
As regards “Real Friends”, it is about the singer’s goodbye to Fifth Harmony, as the chorus reads: “I’m just lookin’ for some real friends/ All they ever do is let me down”.
‘Camila’ is due to be released on January 12, 2018. “Crying in the Club” was released as the original lead single from the album on May 19, 2017 but later on the singer confirmed in an interview that the song won’t be included in the tracklisting.
“Havana” featuring Young Thug was announced as the lead single on August 30 2017, and impacted radio on September 8. “Never Be the Same” and “Real Friends.” are released as the official second and third singles along with the album’s pre-order today (Dec. 7).
