Coldplay to debut brand new song for ‘Estamos Unidos Mexicanos Concert’
Coldplay is about to debut a brand new song which will be performed at ‘Estamos Unidos Mexicanos Concert’ on October 8th. The event will take place in Mexico City and features artists uniting to help the reconstruction and everybody impacted by the recent earthquakes.
Chris Martin & CO. took to Facebook yesterday night (Oct.4) to announce the brand new song, writing both in English and Spanish what is about to happen.
Coldplay will join this effort through a live transmission of some songs from their own concert that night at the SDCCU stadium in San Diego, California, which will air through Televisa and Univisión. The new song proceeds are destined to help relief efforts in Mexico and around the world, just like all proceeds from Coldplay’s San Diego show will go towards disaster relief efforts.
Six days ago Coldplay announced on their official page that the Houston show has been definitively canceled, due to scheduling conflicts. The show was originally postponed due to Hurricane Harvey, and although the band and the venue made every effort to reschedule, they were unfortunately unable to find a new date.
