David Bowie’s widow shares tattoos to mark anniversary of his death

Two years ago today, we lost David Bowie. To pay the perfect tribute on the secondary anniversary of the White Duke‘s death, his widow Iman shared two pictures showing the commemorative tattoos that she and their daughter Lexi have gotten.

Through a touching social media post, the model showed on Instagram two pictures: the first is seemingly a photo of the forearm of the couple’s 17-year-old daughter, Alexandria “Lexi” Jones. The tattoo depicts a jewelled moon alongside the word “Daddy xxx”, and the years of Bowie’s life (1947 – 2016). The second is a tattoo of a knife on Iman’s ankle, with “David” written on the handle.

“You will always be part of us. Jan 10th #BowieForever,” the model wrote with the post. A day ago, Iman added a set of photographs of the couple to her Instagram, adding the caption: “My favorite love story is ours!”

Here’s the tattoos:

You will always be part of us. Jan 10th #BowieForever #EverAndEver
