Demi Lovato enters drug treatment facility
Demi Lovato has been under doctors’ care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles ever since she was hospitalised on July 24th, but now it’s time to enter an in-patient rehabilitation facility as part of her ongoing recovery from a suspected drug overdose.
That’s what she did. The Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker has reportedly left the hospital and been moved to an in-patient rehab facility and is said to be working on regaining her sobriety at a specialised treatment clinic.
“Demi left the hospital over the weekend. She will get continued care at an in-patient rehab facility,” a source told People.
“At the hospital, she was surrounded by family and friends that support her sobriety. They all want Demi to be the best she can. Demi is surrounded by a lot of love. She has people in her life that really care. She has a long journey ahead, but with all the love, her journey could absolutely be a positive one,” the source added.
The news emerges hours after the beautiful singer broke her silence about the health scare in her first personal statement, in which she vowed to “keep fighting” as she thanked family, friends, fans, and medical staff for their support during the tough time.
