Drake: new music on the way, ‘More Life” due in December

Yesterday (Oct.23) Drake announced a new project named ‘More Life’ and unveiled four new songs during his Apple Music OVO Sound Radio show. Just three of them will appear on this new project, set for release in December.

They are: “Two Birds One Stone,” (where Drake seems to address Kid Cudi’s recent spat with himself and Kanye West) “Fake Love,” “Sneakin” (feat. 21 Savage) alongside remix to British rapper Dave’s “Wanna Know“.

“I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist” he said at the beginning of the announcement. “I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there. Just really excited.”

Then the rapper focused on live music: “I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people would like go probably take a break, but for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again. Boy Meets World Tour, coming up soon. UK, I’ll be there soon. Big up to UK massive. Everybody—Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, anywhere we are touching down.”

Finally he concluded: “Yeah, I just want to celebrate life. More life. That’s what we live by. That’s something we not take for granted.”

The rapper also posted artwork for ‘More Life’ on Instagram.
