Elton John ending Las Vegas residency in 2018
Elton John announced the final dates of “The Million Dollar Piano,” ending his long-running Las Vegas residency with 450 shows. The last 14 shows will take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace between April 28th and May 19th, 2018.
Tickets go on sale Sunday (Oct. 22) at 10 a.m. PT either in person at the venue box office or via the AXS or Colosseum websites. In addition to the newly announced dates, John has numerous “Million Dollar Piano” shows booked through late 2017 and early 2018. The 17th leg launched on October 11th and stretches intermittently until November 4th; the 18th leg kicks off February 9th and runs until March 2nd.
“The Million Dollar Piano” was Sir John’s second residency at Caesars Palace as his “The Red Piano” shows ran from 2004 through 2009.
‘For over a decade, Elton John and his band have graced the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, performing all the hits that have defined a generation,‘ Caesars president Gary Selesner said in a statement. ‘Elton John’s residency at The Colosseum has set the standard for those all that have followed. We are incredibly grateful to Elton for allowing Palace to be the home for his 450 memorable performances.‘
