Eminem opens up about Machine Gun Kelly feud
After Eminem took it out on Machine Gun Kelly in his new surprise album Kamikaze, the Bad Things hitmaker decided to fire back with a song called “Rap Devil”, which is a play on “Rap God,” Em’s 2013 hit and lyrical masterclass.
Now Eminem has finally explained why he took aim at Machine Gun Kelly after revealing that it is ‘a lot more petty’ than him speaking out on his daughter Hailie.
Everyone of us thought the Lose Yourself hitmaker was mad at MGK because he talked publicly about Hailie (Em’s daughter) after describing her as being “hot as f**k” on Twitter in 2012.
However, in his first interview since he released the surprise album, the rapper explained to presenter Sway Calloway on a YouTube interview that the reason behind his feud with Kelly is based on even most difficult issues.
“You know you go down the f**king wormhole of YouTube and whatever, right?” he said. “So I see, ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter’ or whatever, right? So I’m like, ‘What the f**k?’ I clicked on it. Then he starts doing a press run, basically, about Hailie. I’m like, ‘What the f**k? Yo, my man better chill.‘
“So, that’s not why I dissed him,” he continued, “The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that. Now I’m in this f**kin’ weird thing, because I’m like, ‘I’ve got to answer this motherf**ker.'”
Eminem is expected to go into more detail when part 2 of The Kamikaze Interview, the follow-up to Tuesday’s part 1, goes live on YouTube and Eminem’s website at an unknown date.
Dear fans, have faith! Eminem confirmed to Sway that he was working on a response to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Rap Davil”.
