Faith Evans and producer Stevie J tied the knot
R&B star Faith Evans – widow of late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. – has reportedly married producer Stevie J. The 45-year-old singer tied the knot with the US musician in Las Vegas, and the pair are said to have hired their wedding official just hours before getting hitched on Tuesday night (July 17).
According to TMZ, the couple exchanged vows in their hotel room. During the ceremony, the couple held hands and got emotional when ‘Ave Maria’ played out on a portable speaker.
The producer – real name Steven Jordan – indicated the nuptials had already taken place as he shared a gushing message to Faith on Twitter on Tuesday night, using what would be her new married name.
“I love you Faith Renee Jordan,” he tweeted, with the singer, a mother-of-four, responding, “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.”
This is Faith’s third trip down the aisle as she was married to rap icon The Notorious B.I.G. from 1994 until his murder in 1997, and then to Todd Russaw from 1998 to 2011.
As regards Stevie, he has never been married before, but previously dated rapper Eve, has six children with different women, and recently avoided prison time for owing $1 million in child support payments.
Faith and Stevie were first linked romantically in 2016. They broke up in 2017 but subsequently rekindled the relationship, and even recorded a song together, called ‘A Minute.’
