Frank Ocean heads the charts of many countries with ‘Blonde”
Frank Ocean is heading for the top of the charts with his new eagerly awaited album “Blonde”. The project, arrived after four years of silence, is the rapper’ second studio album and is likely to hit the top of charts in many countries, according to the latest sales forecasts.
Ocean’s ‘Blonde’ was released on August 20, currently exclusive to Apple Music. In the U.K. since then, it is more than 4,000 combined sales ahead of its nearest rival. This puts Ocean on track for his first Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. The release is also forecast to do well in its debut on the Billboard 200 album charts.
As regards the US iTunes sales charts, “Blonde” predictably soared to #1 shortly after its official release. Given that no other album was expected to even sell 50,000 US copies this week, “Blonde” appears poised to easily rank as the week’s top pure seller.
Needless to say that the album is expected to be this successful also in other countries in Europe and it’s almost sure ‘Blonde’ will reach the top 10 if not the first place of charts.
