Frankie Bridge says a Saturdays reunion is not on the way
The British-Irish girl group Saturdays, composed by Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King and Vanessa White, went on hiatus in 2015. The band declared they would not have released any new music until at least 2016 but it seems their separation will last longer.
Frankie Bridge told the Daily Star that there aren’t any plans to reunite. “Not unless they’re doing it without me” she told “For now, it’s in my past.”
The singer added they all still keep in touch, and as a matter of fact, the band recently reunited at a wedding as they celebrated the marriage of two industry friends. “It’s hard to get everyone together because we’re all over the place and everyone’s busy” she said, “but we all chat all the time.”
If Mollie, Vanessa and Una have all released solo music, Bridge concluded “I’m really interested in trying other things. I’m just enjoying it. You never know, it might lead me back to music.”
