Justin Bieber deletes Instagram account after Selena Gomez accuses him of cheating
Justin Bieber appears to have deleted his Instagram account after a public spat with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. As you surely remember, the two dated from 2010 to 2013 and their intricated love story ended leaving a bad taste in the mouth of all the fans.
Bieber is now dating the 17 year-old daughter of Lionel Richie, Sophia, and he seems a little bit upset for the way the fans are sending abuse to his new girlfriend: after posting a series of selfies with Richie to Instagram, Bieber threatened to privatize his account since fans started hating on her.
“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate – he wrote – this is getting out of hand and If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”
That’s when Gomez slipped into the dispute, posting a comment to Bieber’s Instagram that read: “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love and supported you before any one ever did”.
Bieber soon hit back at Gomez, writing: “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.” and later added “I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and eachother. And yes I love my beliebers.”
The disagreement escalated when Gomez publicly accused Bieber of cheating on her when they were together. In fact, she blasted back “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
Bieber then appeared to deactivate his account. When accessed, the page currently reads: “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”
