Justin Timberlake ill again, the singer postpones Oakland show
His ongoing battle with bruised vocal cords forced Justin Timberlake to postpone another show on his Man of the Woods Tour. The latest date to fall off the roster is a gig scheduled for Wednesday night (Dec. 5) at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
The tour hit a snag in late October, when Timberlake scrapped an Oct. 24 show at Madison Square Garden in New York. At that time, some fans complained saying the singer was ‘unprofessional’ to give the news on short notice.
After that, five more Justin Timberlake tour stops were postponed due to vocal cord issues. The affected stops were Buffalo on Oct. 28, Los Angeles on Nov. 27, Phoenix on Nov. 29, Las Vegas on Dec. 1 and Fresno on Dec. 3.
Promoter Live Nation encouraged fans to hold on to their tickets for the rescheduled date on March 15 at the same venue. As of press time, Timberlake has seven more dates scheduled through the end of the year, with the tour slated to kick off again in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 4.
We don’t know what’s happening to Justin, but we hope he’ll get better soon.
