Kelly Clarkson made husband Brandon Blackstock get a vasectomy
Kelly Clarkson asked her husband to get a vasectomy after she gave birth to their second child in April, just to be sure she doesn’t fall pregnant again.
During an interview at The Jenny McCarthy Show on Thursday (Oct.6), the former American Idol winner revealed she had horrible pregnancies (she gave birth to River in 2013, and to Remi 5 months ago).
“I was literally pregnant with Remi, and I was like, ‘You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again,’” Clarkson said “If something happens, it’s a miracle of God. I literally told my OBGYN on the table while open, ‘If I get pregnant again, I will find you!'”
For this reason, the singer urged her husband Brandon Blackstock to have ‘the snip’ before the birth of their second child, son Remington, earlier this year.
“The shop is closed” she added, emphasizing the fact she’s shut down a third pregnancy. “Things have been taken out, so that cannot happen. We’re done.”
Apart from the hard pregnancies, Kelly admitted to have a thyroid problem that may have led to her struggles to produce breast milk: “I actually pumped like crazy, like, 40 ounces a day,” she said. “Then I just went dry on both pregnancies. For, like, three or four weeks straight, I was crazy. I was like, ‘I’m a rock star!'”
