Kevin Federline asks for more child support from Britney Spears
Britney Spears reportedly received notice that her ex-husband Kevin Federline wants to re-examine their financial arrangements now that she’s made of money.
The couple share two sons: Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11, and according to The Blast, Federline sent a letter via his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan on Thursday (Feb. 22), which asked for the discussion surrounding how much he gets from Spears in child support each month to be revisited.
Britney Spears currently gives her ex a cheque for $20,000 each month, which was based on a percentage of her income at the time the deal was arranged.
The fact is that at the moment the singer earns much more than before, thanks also to her Las Vegas residency which saw her take home $475,000 per show and make a staggering $15 million per year.
“Kevin feels that he has been very supportive of his ex-wife over the years – during the lows and during the highs with the resurgence of her career – and has always made it a priority to accommodate her schedule, even travelling to shows so she could see the kids,” a source told the outlet.
We don’t know how much more Federline is looking for, but it seems he is looking for a large increase. The singer has yet to respond to Federline’s letter.
