LFO singer Devin Lima dies at 41
Devin Lima, the leading singer of LFO, died on Wednesday morning (Nov. 21) aged 41. The singer battled stage 4 adrenal cancer for the past year.
Lima’s not the first band member to die so young and so tragically. In 2010, LFO singer Rich Cronin died of leukemia at age 35.
Last October (2017) Devin Lima had surgery to remove a tumor which was the size of a football, as his bandmate Brad Fischetti said in a video, adding surgery “was smooth, they didn’t have to take out some of the organs they thought they would.”
However, later that month, Fischetti revealed that Lima had stage four adrenal cancer, a diagnosis so rare that it only affects one in one million people across the world: “Devin asked me to give you this update without him because, frankly, he’s not feeling very well. He asked me to send you his love and gratitude for all the love and prayers you’ve sent his way.”
The singer underwent chemotherapy and radiation following his diagnosis. Unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer.
