Machine Gun Kelly hits out at Eminem on new diss track
Here we go again. After Eminem took it out on Machine Gun Kelly in his new surprise album Kamikaze, the Bad Things hitmaker decided to release a track as a response to Eminem’s disses.
Kamikaze dropped without fanfare on Friday (Aug. 31), and Eminem quickly hit headlines for attacking Kelly on the song “Not Alike”, after he lusted after Eminem’s daughter Hailie in 2012, when he called her “hot as f**k”.
If you’re falling behind on what happened, in “Not Alike”, Em raps: “He wants to keep up his tough demeanor, so he does a feature, decides to team up with Nina, but next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun. And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly, I don’t use sublims and sure as fuck don’t sneak-diss but keep commenting on my daughter Hailie…”
Without mentioning the fact Machine Gun Kelly was targeted also on the first track of Kamikaze, “The Ringer,” rhyming MGK’s name with Iggy Azalea’s, another artist he has beef with. The name-drop is included in a line mocking the flow of Lil Pump’s hit song, “Gucci Gang,” and reads: “So finger-bang, chicken wang, MGK, Iggy ‘zae, Lil Pump, Lil Xan imitate Lil Wayne, I should aim at everybody in the game, pick a name…”
Now MGK fires back with a song called “Rap Devil”, which is a play on “Rap God,” Em’s 2013 hit and lyrical masterclass.
The song was released on Monday (Sept. 3rd) and reads: “Tough talk from a rapper paying millions for security a year, I think my dad’s gone crazy, yeah Hailie you right, Dad’s always mad cooped up in the studio yelling at the mic, You’re sober and bored, huh? I know. About to be 46 years old, dog.”
