Michael Bublé’s son Noah has started chemo for liver cancer
Last week Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato announced they decided to put their careers on hold to be close to their son Noah, 3, who has been diagnosed with cancer.
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.” they both wrote on Facebook on Friday (Nov.4) “We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
Now there are further details about Noah’s illness since the singer’sister-in-law, Daniela Lopilato, has confirmed to the Argentinian magazine Gente that the 3-year-old is battling liver cancer and has begun chemo. She said he was diagnosed on Nov. 1 after a liver biopsy.
“Cancer is a horrible disease, but we have faith that Noah will succeed. We know it was time to begin treatment. Will be long and hard, but you have to go. They say that children are usually strong to withstand chemotherapy … and my nephew is a warrior.”
Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato have two children: Noah, and his younger brother Elias, who was born on Jan. 22, 2016.
