Miranda Lambert rescues 72 dogs from Hurricane Harvey
Country music star Miranda Lambert, along with her MuttNation Foundation, joined the rescue efforts in Houston on Tuesday (Aug. 29), rescuing 72 dogs in trouble after devastation brought by Hurricane Harvey. Now the dogs are safe and warm, being treated by medical staff.
Lambert even hosted a dog and her newborn puppies in her home, according to a post, referring to them as her “roommates” and thanking her fans for their support.
Miranda Lambert has long been an animal lover devoted to rescuing dogs, and now, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, she gave it all her best. MuttNation Foundation was founded by Lambert in 2009. They arrived in Houston on Monday (Aug. 28), while the singer joined ground efforts the following night.
