My Chemical Romance Back Together? The Band Allegedly Reuniting For 10th anniversary ‘The Black Parade’ reissue
My Chemical Romance is allegedly going to reissue their most successful album, ‘The Black Parade’, for its 10th anniversary and the emo band seem to be hinting at a reunion.
The band originally split up in 2013 but some days ago shared a 34 second clip that features a flag with a black cross on it billowing in the wind and ends with the date 9.23.16, which is exactly a month before the 10 year anniversary of the band’s third album ‘The Black Parade’. Quite apart from the fact that this was their first tweet in more than a year.
On top of all this, My Chemical Romance have posted a video containing a sort of new logo. Their profile pictures on Twitter and Facebook have also been changed and their website completely redesigned with what the band is calling ‘MCRX’.
However, if that September date is the release date for a new album, song, tour, or something else remains to be seen. An official reunion has yet to be confirmed and we lie in wait for formal announcement. All we know is the date that something’s supposed to happen: September 23.
