Pete Doherty announces two December UK shows

Pete Doherty has today announced a pair of UK shows in Manchester and London for later this year.

The Libertines’ frontman is set to perform at London’s 02 Forum and at Manchester’s Albert Hall, on December 6th and 7th, respectively. The gigs will support his forthcoming lp ‘Hamburg Demonstrations’ which is due for release on December 2nd.

The album, produced, recorded & mixed by Johann Scheerer , includes a new recording of the Amy Winehouse tribute ‘Flags Of The Old Regime’(now called ‘Flags From The Old Regime’). The album also features ’Hell To Pay At The Gates Of Heaven’ written after the Paris attacks last November and ‘A Spy In The House Of Love’ a title borrowed from the Anaïs Nin novel.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale today (Oct.26) via Doherty’s website, with general sale tickets following this Friday (Oct.28) at 9am.

As regards Doherty’s European shows (which start next month with two nights at the soon-to-be-reopened Bataclan in Paris), we’ll see the star in Toulouse, Marseille, Clermont/Ferrand, Lyon, Caen, and Nantes.
