Pink very ill, the singer is forced to cancel another tour date
Last week (Aug.3), Pink was forced to postpone her show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena as she was battling with an upper respiratory infection. Live Nation has done everything possible to reschedule the concert on Saturday (Aug.4) and the singer succeeded to perform, but then her conditions got worse on Sunday forcing her to postpone other two gigs.
Pink was admitted to hospital suffering from dehydration, she was treated and then discharged from the facility, before she returned on Monday, when she was diagnosed with a gastric virus.
As a result, she had to axe a second show on Monday, and representatives for promoters Live Nation have now announced that she has been forced to cancel a third concert on Tuesday (Aug. 7).
“Pink’s performance scheduled for tonight at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed,” they wrote on Twitter. “Pink was admitted to Hospital on Sunday night, treated and discharged. She was readmitted on Monday. A further announcement will be made when an update becomes available.”
The 38-year-old had been kept in hospital overnight on Monday as she received treatment and continued to recover from the virus.
She is next set to perform at the venue on Thursday followed by another four dates. The three cancelled shows are set to be rescheduled.
