Popular vlogger and singer dies at 16 from an apparent suicide
Singer Hannah Stone died in New York from an apparent suicide on Wednesday (Nov.1st), just two weeks before her 17th birthday. The internet star was followed by 375,000 people on the YouNow live streaming website.
According to her obituary, Hannah died at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, ‘with her loving family by her side’. In September, the teen shared a cryptic tweet, saying: ‘I’ll never be able to describe how sorry I am.’ and after about 20 days the singer posted a photo of herself with the caption: ‘Officially on do not disturb mode from now on.’
Since that moment, the Hannah took a month-long break from social media and her last Instagram post was on October 14. On October 18, the teen made her final YouNow stream as she played the piano and sang to her fans.
Details behind Hannah’s death have not been released, but media reports claim she took her own life.
