Robert Plant to release ‘Carry Fire’ album in October

English singer, songwriter, and musician Robert Plant, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, will release his first solo album in three years, “Carry Fire”, on Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records on Oct. 13, 2017.

The album is Plant’s 11th solo album and the follow-up to 2014’s “Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar”. Released on September 8th, 2014 on Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records, it was Plant’s first studio album with his backing band the Sensational Space Shifters, although the name of the band is not credited on the front cover.

The singer, who was named as one of the “50 Great Voices” in the world in 2010, has some surprises in store for us on the new album, such as the duet with Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde on “Bluebirds Over the Mountain.”

Here is the track list for “Carry Fire”:

1. The May Queen

2. New World…

3. Season’s Song

4. Dance With You Tonight

5. Carving Up The World Again… a wall and not a fence

6. A Way With Words

7. Carry Fire

8. Bones Of Saints

9. Keep It Hid

10. Bluebirds Over The Mountain
