Shinedown: new album & single
Shinedown’s new album Attention Attention is out on May 4 via Atlantic Records. The 2015’s Threat to Survival follow-up has been anticipated by a brand new single titled “Devil”, of which the American rock band from Jacksonville released the music video.
On Wednesday (Mar. 7), the band debuted the official video for the lead single, directed by Bill Yukich, who has previously worked with Beyoncé, Marilyn Manson, Korn and Foo Fighters.
In a statement, the band said their sixth studio album, Attention Attention, is a 14-track project wich reflects “Shinedown’s most raw and personal to date” this because it is “a mental, emotional and physical journey that follows an individual from life’s lowest lows to the highest highs, as anxieties dissipate and demons disappear…”
Moreover, “The story that unfolds as the album progresses is a powerful statement about the resolve of the human spirit, our will to overcome struggles and the importance of respecting and leaning on one another.”
Attention Attention is available for pre-order today. As regards the single, it is about being afraid of not only yourself, in some respects, but the world around you. Watch the video below.
