    Kendrick Lamar has become the first hip-hop act to win a Pulitzer Prize in music for his acclaimed 2017 album DAMN. On Wed., the rapper went to the New York City's Columbia University to receive the distinguished honor and now he is the first person to win a Pulitzer for a hip-hop album.

    Lamar's "DAMN" was announced as the recipient of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize, a history-making first for a rap artist. Lamar is the first person to win a Pulitzer for a hip-hop album and the first person to win a Pulitzer for any music that’s not classical or jazz.

    Kendrick Lamar has finally announced UK and Europe dates for his Damn tour in 2018. The rapper will be joined by special guest James Blake and will perform 15 dates across 11 countries, starting in Dublin on 7 February.
