Toni Braxton released from hospital as she gets better
Toni Braxton is now at home after spending several days in a Los Angeles hospital being treated for what doctors called “a serious condition” of lupus.
A spokesman revealed that the 48-year-old singer was released yesterday (Oct.03) adding: “Lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times”.
Braxton revealed in 2010 that she had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease: “Some days I can’t balance it all,” she told the Huffington Post about the disease.
“I just have to lay in bed. Pretty much when you have Lupus you feel like you have the flu every day. But some days you get through it. But for me, if I’m not feeling well, I tend to tell my kids, ‘Oh mummy’s just going to relax in bed today’. I kind of take it easy.“
