Travis Scott’s ‘Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight’ heads for No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart
Yes, that’s true: Travis Scott is back – we had already warned you – and he is not doing it on the sly.
According to industry forecasters, the rapper’s new album ‘Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight’ (dropped on Sep 2nd through Epic Records) is aiming to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Sources suggest the album may earn over 80,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 8th. It means that Scott will gain No.1 after his debut project ‘Rodeo’, which peaked at No. 3 on the tally in 2015.
‘Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight’ is exclusively available through the Apple Music streaming service, and the iTunes Store.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
