Trey Songz’s new album “Tremaine” to drop in 2017
During a recent interview with Bay Area’s Power 106 KMEL, Trey Songz announced that he has been working on an upcoming project called ‘Tremaine’ for the past two years, and that will be released in 2017.
‘Tremaine’ serves as the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Trigga’ but it seems the sound will be a little bit different. “Everybody takes in everything so fast, and they’re on to the next thing, so I want figure out how to hold people’s attention,” Trey explained.
“It’s been special every time for me when I put an album out, so I don’t want the fact that music has changed to streaming and singles, and etc., etc., to change the way I […] want my music delivered. If it takes forever, it takes forever, but I just want to make sure it’s the way I want it to be before I give it to the world,” he concluded.
Songz also explained his “distinctive vision” he had in mind for the album’s reception, which includes special attention to videos, singles and photos. Watch the full interview below where he also talks about his new year’s resolution and his favorite Christmas gift of all time.
