‘The Voice’ recap: Hudson & Shelton compete for Top 12
Season 13 of The Voice has come to the Playoffs round. The first of the three playoff rounds aired on Monday (Nov. 13) on NBC.
During the show, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson’s six remaining artists performed and each coach picked three artists to advance to the live portion of the season. Both coaches also announced their comeback artists for the season.
Heading into the playoff, each of these coaches had six artists on their team: four that won in match-ups on the knockout rounds, one that they stole from a rival coach, and one comeback artist that they brought back for another chance.
Hudson announced that her comeback artist was Lucas Holliday but his performance wasn’t so great. As regards the other performers, she keeps Davon Fleming, Noah Mac and Shi’Ann Gibson and says goodbye to Hannah Mrozak, Chris Weaver and Lucas Holliday.
Shelton’s comeback artist was Natalie Stovall. The country singer decided to advance Keisha Renee, Red Marlow and Chloe Kohanski, while Mitchell Lee, Esera Tuaolo and Natalie Stovall went home.
Team Miley will perform tonight (Nov.14) and Team Adam will perform on Wednesday night (Nov.15). We’ve got a feeling things could get real bumpy.
